Bigger, Bolder, and Tastier Than Ever!

This is not your average seafood shindig–this year, you get to choose your feast: Lobster, Crab, or Prime Rib. (Because options are delicious.)

It’s our 11th Annual Event, and we’ve added the ‘Plus’ to Lobsterfest for a reason—this year will be legendary. Join us Saturday, June 7, at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney. Tickets are limited—grab yours today!

In addition to savouring a Lobster, Crab or Prime Rib dinner, get ready to bid on jaw-dropping goodies during our silent and live auctions. (Stay tuned for silent auction details.) We’ll be rounding out the night with live music from local band Shaky Ground. Doors open at 6pm for cocktails and silent auction viewing and the dinner bell rings at 7pm. The success of this event relies on the generosity of the community members like yourself. It would be greatly appreciated if you would consider donating an item for this fun event.

  • Donation to the Live Auction – items valued at $1000 or more such as trips, experiences, electronics, jewelry, sports memorabilia, art, etc.
    • Acknowledgement – auctioneer will announce you as donor and you will be listed in the program and slideshow presentation throughout the evening.
  • Donation to the Silent Auction – general items such as electronics, appliances, golf packages, restaurant certificates, gift cards.
    • Acknowledgement in on-line auction bid sheets, identification sign on the auction table and in the slideshow presentation throughout the evening.

Donated items must be received by May 10th to be included in this event.

The Rotary Club of Sidney by the Sea and the Saanich Peninsula Community Foundation are thrilled to be co-hosting the 11th annual Lobsterfest+ on Saturday June 7th at the Mary Winspear Centre. Attracting over 200 people to a sit-down feast, this year we’ve added a ‘+’ allowing guests to choose as their main course either fresh Atlantic lobster, fresh caught Vancouver Island crab or locally raised Prime Rib of Beef. Join us for a great meal, accompanied by live entertainment, a few drinks and a fantastic Silent and Live auction!

This fun-filled evening is one of the premier annual community events where the evening’s proceeds are invested 100% in the Peninsula. And it will be even that much more special, if you support it with a sponsorship.

Proceeds from past events have benefited many local community organizations. This year the Rotary Club of Sidney by the Sea’s portion of the funds raised are earmarked to support the Youth Clinic at Shoreline Medical – a particularly worthwhile cause in today’s world where so many of our young people are struggling.

The Saanich Peninsula Community Foundation’s portion of the event proceeds will be distributed among several smaller Peninsula charities that serve urgent local needs every day, where a few thousand dollars can make a huge difference.
